iSPACE  visited
Red Rover at Davis Creek 5th Grade

April 6, 2005

They saw how Davis Creek Mars Yard is up above the computers.

The wires are kept off the path of the rover by hooking them up above.

The view from the camera can be seen on  http://daviscreek.cabe.k12.wv.us:8080
We have found it easy to capture the pictures to save as jpgs.

The Mars Station can be reached by an "Earth" site elsewhere in the school
through Red Rover program run as an earth site.
From one Mars site unlimited number of Earth sites can connect.

For inside the school or school district use  http://10.33.88.5
Bev and JoAnnMrs. Simon with iSpace people.
A portable Mars Yard is great for demonstrations and presentation.

Red Rover can be used to program motors, sounds, and sensors.

LEGO CAD Miss Adventure and Mars Mission projects in the past and now this year
were set up for operation through RED ROVER.

After visiting Davis Creek and them going to Village of Barboursville Elementary
to teleoperate Davis Creek Red Rover,
the next visit was to
theLEGO City

The Red Rover program at the City can run the Mars Station and many other RCX at the LEGO City.

Red Rover program was check out at Spring Hill Math Class.

Interestingly the camera can see the Infrared we can not.
