Davis Creek Elementary
October 28, 2003

October 28, 2003 was quite an eventful day for LEGO Projects at Davis Creek Elementary.
During this day architects from South Carolina Transportation Institute visited
the

LEGO City
while Davis Creek was connected through Red Rover Red Rover and SENSORSCITY.
  • A 3D LEGO Pumpkin was constructed and became part of the DC Mars Red Rover setting.                                             Perhaps Trick-or-Treat is also a Martian Holiday!
  • Mars Adventure Mission Team #6:  Challenge HELP! built a solution to sending for help from Mars by constructing a COMSAT model.  The COMSAT will send out a message to neighboring satellites, which will, in turn, send a message to Earth.  The team also used LEGO CAD to build a permanent electronic file replica of their construction.
  • Mrs. Simon, the 5th grade teacher at Davis Creek, received a birthday present from Mrs. Hamilton.  She got a LEGO Spiderman Laboratory set to go with her LEGO Spiderman Tramway set.  Mrs. Simon built the laboratory and the students built the tramway.  Thank you, Mrs. Hamilton!
